Another  good way to help with the breathing would be to lose at least 10% of your body weight. By doing this you are alsobettering your overall heath which is like killing two birds with one stone.

Another remedy is to use CPAP(Continuous Positive Airway pressure) . CPAP  is a device that is very commonly used to treat moderate to severe sleep apnea. that you put over your nose which sends pressurized air through your nose to open the airway passage while pulling pushing your tongue forward. Make adjustments and give yourself some time to get used to having a foreign object over your nose.  This is a good devise for sleep apnea help, so try not to give up too easily.

Lastly, if you suffer from severe sleep apnea and CPAP has not improved your breathing, you may have to consider sleep apnea surgery.  In this kind of surgery, either your tonsils may be taken out or any excess tissue found in the back of your throat and sometime in your nose. This could be a permanent solution to sleep apnea but like with any surgery, no one is free from having complications or infections from the surgical procedure. It is important that you have exhausted all other alternative solution to alleviate sleep apnea before going to this last resort.
