There can be a number of other side effects associated with these type of sedatives such as light headedness, grogginess, brain fog, loss of balance and more. This type of treatment in curing sleeplessness is usually advised for short term use as using them on a more constant basis can be even more detrimental.

A good quality of sleep is very important for a human being to function at a decent level. Chronic sleeping problems can result in a long list of ailments directly relating to it. Everybody agrees that oxygen is vital for humans . But when they say that, few people are aware of what all this means.   When our oxygen supply is hampered, it is usually then that we can fully appreciate what taking a breath does for us.  And oxygen is even more necessary  than that.  Oxygen is literally the source of health for our bodies, every cell needs it to survive.   Metabolism takes place only when oxygen is processed through our  body’s systems, which generate energy to make vital functions occur  and eliminate waste by-products. Waste products that remain in the body, not being purged as they should, are an indication of an insufficient amount of oxygen  . Keeping the balance between oxygen supply and demand is what keeps our bodies in a state of wellness and fit.  When the spine is moved in the correct , swaying  motion, it also it assists in oxygenating our body. Oxygen Enemies

Posted in an article in the Journal of Longevity entitled ‘Oxygen Decrease Leading to Worldwide Increase in Disease’ dr. Phillip Stanish  makes the statement that our bodies were originally created to operate within an atmosphere that had 50% more oxygen than is currently available. To give an example of how much has been lost, 200 years ago we were dealing with 38%.  , So, having gone from 38%, down to 19% on average, we have even tested as  low as 10% in certain cities. Some of the factors that account for this decrease in the oxygen concentration are :

  • We have cooked out the oxygen content in our foods (see Eating Raw) and in our vegetables, and the additional heat destroys necessary enzymes that our digestive systems need  .
  • The oxygen content in processed foods is all but completely gone now  .
  • Tap water is very low in oxygen. Its journey through lead pipes, together with the addition of chlorine and other chemical contaminants deplete the water of much of the oxygen concentration and prevent it from being aerated.
  • Carbon monoxide fumes from cars strip oxygen molecules from the blood.
  • Heating and air conditioning in homes, offices and cars depletes oxygen and circulates germs .
  • Sedentary activities and emotional stress contribute to chronically low levels of oxygen in your cells .
